OFFICIAL RULES
COMMON TERMS USED IN THESE RULES:
These are the official rules that govern how the Movable Ink Think Summit London 2024 trip giveaway promotion will operate. This promotion will be simply referred to as the “Sweepstakes” throughout the rest of these rules.
In these rules, “we” “our” and “us” refers to Movable Ink. “You,” “yourself,” “I,” “me,” and “my” refers to an eligible entrant.
1. SWEEPSTAKES DESCRIPTION:
This is a meeting-based Sweepstakes that will be limited to the first 25 entrants. Only those who have booked and attended a meeting with Movable Ink will be able to participate in the Sweepstakes. Entry eligibility will be determined using the criteria in Paragraph 4 and the team will randomly select one (1) person to receive the prize outlined below. The winner will be the sole recipient of the prize and will not be able to transfer the prize or exchange it.
2. What are the start and end dates?
The Sweepstakes start at 8:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time on August 1, 2024 and end at 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time on August 30, 2024. This will be referred to as the Entry Period throughout the rest of these rules. Entries must be received within the Entry Period to be eligible. Any entries received outside of those dates will be disqualified.
3. Can You enter?
You are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes if you meet the following requirements:
· You are a legal resident of the United States or Canada and you are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.
· You were a recipient of outreach from representatives of Movable Ink inviting you to be a part of these Sweepstakes.
The Sweepstakes are void outside the geographic area described above and wherever else prohibited by law.
4. What constitutes an eligible entry?
To be eligible to win, an entrant must meet the following requirements:
You must book a time to meet with representatives from Movable Ink and attend one, brief informational session.
The meeting must be complete by 5:00pm Eastern Time on August 30, 2024.
5. What is the prize(s)?
The prize is a trip to Think Summit London 2024 taking place on October 15, 2024. The prize package includes roundtrip flights to London from your home airport, a 3-night hotel stay near the event space, and a free ticket to the Think Summit conference.
Value approximately $3,000 USD
6. How will the winner be selected?
The winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries. The name will be drawn from our list of entries on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time and the recipient will be notified no later than Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time.
7. How will you know if you’re a winner?
The winner will be contacted via the email address used to book the meeting.
If you are a winner, we may require you to sign an affidavit of eligibility, and liability/publicity release. If you do not sign and return these forms, if required, within the time period listed on the winner notification message, we may disqualify you and select an alternate randomly selected winner.
8. What if I am unable to accept the prize?
If the winner is unable or declines to accept their prize, Movable Ink will randomly select another eligible participant.
9. What other conditions are you agreeing to by entering the Sweepstakes?
By entering the Sweepstakes you agree and/or understand:
(1.) To abide by these Official Rules;
(2.) To the extent allowed by law, to release and hold harmless Movable Ink and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injury, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes or any prize won;
(3.) That Movable Ink’s decisions will be final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes;
(4.) That Movable Ink may use your proper name and company online and in print, or in any other media, in connection with the Sweepstakes, without payment or compensation to you, except where prohibited by law; and
(5.) The Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of New York, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of New York courts (state and federal) for any disputes arising out of the Sweepstakes.
10. What if something unexpected happens and the Sweepstakes can’t run as planned?
If someone cheats, or a virus, bug, catastrophic event, or any other unforeseen or unexpected event that cannot be reasonably anticipated or controlled, (also referred to as force majeure) affects the fairness and / or integrity of the Sweepstakes, we reserve the right to cancel, change or suspend the Sweepstakes. This right is reserved whether the event is due to human or technical error. If a solution cannot be found to restore the integrity of the Sweepstakes, we reserve the right to select winners from among all eligible entries received before we had to cancel, change or suspend the Sweepstakes.
Computer “hacking” is a crime. If you attempt to compromise the integrity or the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by hacking or by cheating or committing fraud in ANY way, we may seek damages from you to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, we may ban you from participating in any of our future sweepstakes or contests, so please play fairly.
